Born to ride, Charlene Bower took her first dirt bike ride while still in diapers with her father who was an International Six Days Enduro champion. After trying hands-on automotive work, she opted for the front of house and enjoyed customer relations more. Spending a decade in auto parts stores, motorcycle shops and PR, she branched out into the magazine business eventually founding her company, Bower Motorsports Media.Charlene fills us in on her role with the all female build, High Yellow 56, and how she empowers women through her creation of a growing community called Ladies Off Road Network.

Guest: Eliza Leon - Technician, Off-Roader, TV Host and all around boss!
The daughter of a diesel mechanic, Eliza Leon's path seemed destined. After learning to wrench on her uncle's trucks, by junior high she already knew she would be enrolling in automotive technical school at her high school. After high school she landed her first job as an apprentice at a local transmission shop. Though she dabbled with a career in public policy in D.C., she quickly learned that the automotive world was still calling her. Eliza has been a heavy line technician, bodyman helper, service writer, body shop estimator and auto insurance damage adjuster, and most recently a Co-host for XOR – Xtreme Off-Road. Her passion is encouraging young people to learn the trades and for women to enter into and stay in the trades.
