2 - By 20 she was a lead auto body tech, and then she opened an all female restoration shop!
Guest: Hillary Noak - Autobody Tech and All female Restoration Shop owner
Aged 17 with $1000 in hand, Hillary Noack bought her first car, a 1970 Oldsmobile. It featured rust, pitted chrome and faded paint which led her to enroll in her high school auto shop class. Being the only female in her class did not deter her from joining a co-op internship at a local body shop and then moving into professional collision repair roles. By her late 20's she was the lead tech at one of Toronto's largest auto body repair shops and teaching auto body classes at a local college. Listen in to hear how Hillary, using a crowdfunding campaign, broke her glass ceiling and opened Ink n Iron Auto. It's an all female run autobody shop focusing on classic and muscle cars with a tattoo twist.
Check her out on Instagram and check out her great shop!
