112. Stitched for Success A Woman's Path from Nail Art to Custom Interiors
Meet Jessica Mildice, an automotive upholsterer who took an unconventional road into the trades. Originally a nail artist and licensed cosmetologist, Jessica found her passion for craftsmanship translated beautifully into custom car interiors. After starting out doing office work at an upholstery shop, she quickly fell in love with the artistry of the trade and made the leap to become an apprentice. Now a skilled upholsterer working in restoration, Jessica has even expanded her hands-on skills into bodywork and welding.
Since this episode first aired, she’s brought her talents to the Iron Maven All Female Build, crafting custom door panels at Girl Gang Garage. Tune in to hear how Jessica followed her creative instincts into the world of custom cars and carved out a path all her own—one stitch at a time.
